MotorGuide Xi3 - New for 2018 - Powerful and Quality Engine!
MotorGuide Xi3 is available with and without GPS. The new Xi3 GPS motors offer the same functionality as the MotorGuide Xi5 motors. These motors are compatible with Lowrance fishfinders via a NMEA2000 network connection.
The MotorGuide Xi3 Pinpoint GPS motor is capable of:
- stop at the "spot lock" anchorage
- move in the indicated direction "heading lock"
- move in a given direction at a given speed - "cruise control"
The standard control panel has 8 memory locations where you can set the desired attachment points, and these motors can be driven along a predetermined route or a pre-recorded route.
The engine mount is made of composite material and is virtually unbreakable.
MotorGuide Xi3 motors are categorized by power, voltage and motor mount length. The engine should be selected according to the size of the boat - boat length, side heights, boat weight, personal preference of the user. 55lb / 12v motors are usually suitable for boats up to 5m in length, but longer boats are usually equipped with 70lb / 24v motors.
MotorGuide Xi3 motors can be designed for fresh and seawater applications. Freshwater motors are black, while seawater motors are white, with a very durable color.

GPS Precise Positioning Features:

Anchor function - when the desired point is reached, the boat is fixed in a specific location with GPS coordinates with one click on the remote control or pedal. The displacement of the boat does not exceed one meter, even in strong winds, waves or currents. 8 positions can be stored in internal memory, while the number of positions stored online with the Lowrance fishfinder is virtually unlimited.
Route Recording / Repeat - You can record, save and reuse 8 routes, each 6.4 km long. Go back to any location and change any saved route. Pinpoint® GPS will take you to the closest access point on a route and navigate to the farthest destination along that route.
Heading Lock - Select a compass heading and Pinpoint® GPS will steer the boat in a straight line in the direction you specify. Currents, winds and waves will not divert the engine from course until the course lock is disabled. The direction and speed can be adjusted.
